2.2 Calendar Integration (Optional)

If you choose to connect your calendar:

• Calendar Access: Read-only access to view your busy times (Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook)
• Scope: We only query times within your event date range
• Storage: Calendar access tokens are encrypted and automatically deleted after 30 days
• No Event Details: We do not read, store, or share the content of your calendar events

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device information
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used (via Vercel Analytics)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your meeting scheduling events
• Send email notifications about event creation, responses, and decisions
• Display availability to event organizers (in aggregate, privacy-preserving format)
• Generate calendar invites (.ics files) for confirmed meetings

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 With Other Users

• Event organizers can see participant names, email addresses, and availability
• Participants can see the event name, duration, and date range
• In "Anonymous" privacy mode, only aggregated availability is shown (no names)

4.2 With Service Providers

• Vercel: Hosting and infrastructure
• Neon: Database hosting (PostgreSQL)
• Resend: Transactional email delivery
• Google/Microsoft: Calendar integration (only if you opt-in)

4.3 We Never Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We implement security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption: All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS
• Token Encryption: Calendar OAuth tokens encrypted with AES-256
• Access Control: Share tokens and edit tokens required for event access
• Secure Infrastructure: Hosted on Vercel and Neon with industry-standard security

6. Data Retention

• Events: Automatically expire 30 days after creation
• Calendar Tokens: Deleted after 30 days or when disconnected
• Email History: Retained by Resend for 30 days
• Account Deletion: Contact us to request immediate data deletion

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Update: Modify your availability or event details anytime
• Delete: Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw Consent: Disconnect calendar access at any time
• Object: Opt-out of email notifications (except essential transactional emails)

8. Calendar Integration Privacy

Our calendar integration is designed with privacy as a priority:

• We only request read-only access to your busy/free times
• We do not access event titles, descriptions, attendees, or locations
• Queries are limited to the event date range you specified
• Calendar data is processed in real-time and not permanently stored
• You can disconnect at any time, immediately revoking our access

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal tracking:

• Essential Cookies: Required for app functionality (session tokens)
• Analytics: Vercel Analytics (privacy-friendly, no personal data)
• No Advertising: We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers

MeetingWiz is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
